Mika dela Cruz had become the face of “Goin’ Bulilit” until her ‘graduation’ from the kiddie show.
The now-Kapuso actress built her fan base on her mother station, ABS-CBN. However, some of her fans chose to stay in the Kapamilya network instead of continually supporting her.
The 18-year-old actress revealed that she received harsh criticisms from her fans. “Actually, na-bash din ako. Sinasabi na wala akong utang na loob,” she confessed.
But she stressed she has no grudge from her fans who criticized her.
“Okay lang naman sa akin yun. Kumbaga, kung fan ka talaga, kung talagang sinusuportahan mo ko, wala naman kung saang network ‘yan, ‘di ba?”
She also claimed that her fans became more active since she moved to GMA Network.
Mika emphasized, “Pero halos lahat po ng loyal kong fans, nag-stay with me at sobrang lalong naging active noong lumipat ako rito.”
When asked if she’s affected by those “walang utang-na-loob” remarks, the actress said “hindi po.”
“Desisyon ko ‘to, papanindigan ko ‘to. Masaya ‘ko, may trabaho ‘ko agad. Ang saya ng cast, ang saya ng staff. Ang bait-bait ng director ko,” she added.
Meanwhile, Mika is happy for the high ratings of her debut series in the Kapuso network.
“Meant to Be”, which is top-billed by Barbie Forteza, is a consistent winner on primetime based on AGB Nielsen data.
She gratefully said, “‘Yun nga, sobrang nakakataba ng puso. At tsaka, never kaming binigo ng mga fans namin pagdating sa rating. Talagang gabi-gabi, walang mababa, walang palya.”
The younger sister of Angelika dela Cruz said she feels comfortable to play the role of Mariko since the character’s traits are close to her personality.
