The ‘One Sided Love’ meme has already reached Darren Espanto.
The photo that was posted on MCA Music’s official page and was reuploaded by Senyora Santibañez on its Facebook page with over 2.2M followers. This led to some netizens to bash Darren for something he never did.
On the viral photo, Darren seemed to have failed to put his other hand with the girl to form a heart symbol but according to him, it was actually the photographer’s fault. In a blog-con for his upcoming concert ‘D Total Experience’, Darren clarified, “‘Yung mismong photographer po, nagsorry siya kasi hindi nacapture ‘yug pag-heart ko. Alam po nila na naka-heart din ako. At saka ‘yung girl din po nagpost na nakaheart din ako pero hindi na nacapture. So sayang.”

Darren ended the issue with the quote, “Get the story right before you judge someone.”
