A man mamed Kristoffer Monico Ng was arrested on March 29 for allegedly trying to extort money fro Kiefer Ravena. The arrest was in relation to the basketball star’s alleged photo scandal that surfaced the internet.
According to ABS-CBN News, the 22-year-old suspect was caught in an entrapment operation laid out by the Philippine National Police Anti-Cyber Crime Group (PNP-ACG).
Kiefer revealed in a statement that Ng threatened to “leak” his alleged nude photos and “tried to extort money from us.”

The suspect claimed he merely offered information in exchange of money but denied posting the photos on social media.

Meanwhile, in an interview with News 5, Kiefer said he learned to be more careful next time. He said, “Siguro, mag-ingat. Hindi lang doble ingat kundi triple ingat, lalo na mundo ng social media.”
