Actress Andi Eigenmann recently deleted her Twitter account after posting a series of emotional tweets expressing her anger over former boyfriend, Jake Ejercito. Ejercito has filed a joint custody over their 5-year-old daughter, Ellie.
What has prompted her to delete her account was the mud-slinging game she’s had with Jake and his lawyer, Attorney Ferdinand Topacio who posted on his own account: “Someone is making it easy for us to prove something important in court.” He even tagged his client Jake and his sister Jerika Ejercito on his tweet.
Andi and Jake recently exchanged rants on their respective social media accounts. Jake called out Andi for playing the victim which the actress has denied. Attorney Topacio has issued a public statement explaining why his client, Ejercito needed to file for a joint custody and visitation rights. The lawyer also appealed to Eigenmann to refrain from entertaining media questions regarding the case to protect the privacy of her daughter Ellie.
Andi seems to have regrets after she had deleted her Twitter account, @andieigengirl, she explains, “Ayaw ko naman po kasi talaga na magsalita. But because Twitter is there, whenever I let my feelings get the best of me, ‘yan ‘yung outlet ko palagi. So, huwag na lang akong mag-Twitter para wala na lang outlet at all.”
Eigenmann’s Twitter account can no longer be accessed through search engines, yielding a “page doesn’t exist” result.
