Now he’s with Regal Films, newest Regal Baby Derrick Monasterio wants to work with Kapamilya actors and actresses in the movies since the movie outfit is known for starring artists from rival TV networks, ABS-CBN and GMA Network.
Talking to PEP, Derrick revealed, “Super. Yun nga yung gusto ko, e. Sabi ko [kay] Mother, sana.”
Derrick explained why he wants to work with Kapamilya stars. He said, “Kasi siyempre iba pa rin, e. Gusto ko ma-try makawork yung taga ABS-CBN kasi iba yung chemistry, kumbaga. Maraming din akong matutunan definitely sa kanila.”

When asked who among the Kapamilya stars he wants to work with, he chose the reigning FHM Sexiest Jessy Mendiola. “‘Siya pa rin. Wala lang, crush ko siya dati pa, e. Sexy pa!,” he explained.
