Celebrity Boxer and incumbent Senator Manny Pacquio together with Queen of All Media Kris Aquino and Megastar Sharon Cuneta were among the top 3 celebrity taxer payers listed in BIR’s top 500 individual tax payers of 2014.
In the list released by BIR on their website, Pacquiao, Aquino and Cuneta lead Philippine celebrities who paid the highest regular income taxes for the year 2014.
Pacquiao which ranked number 2 in the overall ranking is the top celebrity tax payer having paid Php210, 3015, 927 in income tax.
Kris Aquino, who’s a consistent top tax payer on the other hand ranked 6th overall and 2nd for celebrities with her Php54, 530, 635 of taxes paid.
Meanwhile the megastar Sharon Cuneta who is also a regular candidate in the top tax payers list is ranked 13th overall and top 3 in the celebrity ranking after paying a total of Php49, 117, 122.
Apart from the 3, other celebrities who were listed in the 2014 top 500 individual tax payer’s list are John Lloyd Cruz Php37, 701, 343, Anne Curtis Php31, 465, 873, Vic Sotto Php27, 001, 073 and Coco Martin Php22, 017, 644.
