Liza Soberano’s manager, Ogie Diaz, said in one of his interviews that schedule was the main reason why the he and the Kapamilya actress turned down an offer to star in a Hollywood film.
Ogie revealed that Liza would be the film’s lead star if the project materializes. He said, “Bida sana siya kaya lang hindi nila ma-swak sa schedule. Wala kaming maibigay na schedule.”
The “Home Sweetie Home” star also said that the film has a great story. “Hindi lang namin alam kung sino ang makakasama niya. Maganda ang kuwento at gusto ni Liza.” However, he reiterated, “Ang problema nga lang saan naman namin isisingit?”
Liza will start to shoot for “Darna” this July; thus, her schedule is full until the end of the year. Ogie explained, “Hindi naman namin mapagbigyan ang mga imbitasyong ito kasi nga ang mga schedule niya ay inilaan na namin para sa ‘Darna’.”
The 20-year-old actress was chosen by Star Cinema to play the coveted role of Darna, the iconic Pinay superhero created by Mars Ravelo.
