The new Kapuso admitted that he loves to act
Kapuso actress Marian Rivera’s new show ‘Super Ma’am’ is set to air on GMA Telebabad’s primetime on September of this year.
Alongside, her new leading man Matthias Rhoads was already introduced since they have started taping their upcoming show.
The Filipino-American actor was welcomed in GMA Network last summer, a few months ago. He was a model back when he was still in the states.
He went viral here in the Philippines as the groom and heartbreaker in kwentong Jollibee ‘vow’ commercial.
The Kapuso hunk also had several exposures in different GMA Network shows like Meant to be, Tonight with Arnold Clavio, Rhian Ramos’ and Solenn Heusaff’s Taste Buddies, female talk show Mars and became a coach and judge in reality modeling show in GMA News TV, Fiercest of them all.
He was also able to experience posing for Cosmo Magazine.
The leading man was even lucky enough to meet Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach and got seated next to Filipino-American MMA Champion Brandon Vera.
Aside from modelling, the new Kapuso actor is a hot rider aiming to escape the traffic in Metro Manila, a beach lover, runner and a DJ at the same time. Aside from that, he really knows what good fashion is. He is definitely a total package.
In his previous statements, Matthias shared that he’s enjoying taping the show because he loves to act.
“The first day was super short, I enjoyed the second day more because I had a lot of lines and I was able to meet most of the main cast,” he said.
He further elaborated that his first scene with the prime time queen was slightly intense.
“Marian is kind of slapping and hitting me at the moment because our introduction isn’t so ideal,” he explained.
Off-cam, he mentioned that he’s starting to get comfortable with the set-up. “I have a nice, cold room and I just got a reclining chair so I’ll probably be sleeping on that because I know that there’s long hours,” he ended.
Meanwhile, Meg Imperial, Ash Ortega, Enrico Cuenca and the veteran actress Helen Gamboa will also be part of the show.
