  • Vice Ganda had an embarrassing story to share involving Jose Mari Chan.
  • He went to the restroom with his friend who supposedly made him wait.
  • The person in the cubicle isn’t the friend who came with him in the restroom.

Vice Ganda is fond of telling stories while hosting It’s Showtime. In a recent episode of the noontime show, Vice had the whole studio cringing from second-hand embarrassment as he recalled a cringe-moment with music icon Jose Mari Chan.

Vice told his embarrassing story.

He shared this during the Tawag ng Tanghalan segment, as the contestant reminded him of Chan’s Christmas tunes. The awkward moment happened during Karylle‘s wedding with Yael Yuzon in 2014. It’s Showtime co-host and close friend Anne Curtis seemed to not know the story and pushed Vice to share it on TV.

“Nakasabay ko sa banyo ‘yan dati, si Jose Mari Chan. Nung kasal ni Karylle. Hindi ko talaga makakalimutan ang kahihiyang inabot ko.”

Vice recounted that he went to the restroom with one of his close friends. He finished ahead, waiting for his friend before heading back out to the party.

“Hindi mo ba alam ‘yun? Nung kasal ni Karylle? Nung gusto kong lumubog sa lupa, mamatay na lang.”

Vice went to the john with friend.

The comedian asked a friend to come with him to the john.

“Reception sa Tagaytay, diba? Edi hinihintay ‘yung mga pagkain, eh nasi-CR ako. Sabi ko sa kasama kong bakla, ‘Bakla, samahan mo ako. CR tayo.’ CR kami…”

“Siyempre naka-pambabae ako. Pag-(bukas) ko, sarado. Sabi ni bakla, ‘Bakla, dito ka na sa girls! Kakilala naman natin ‘yung mga bisita!’ Pasok kami sa girls…”

Vice’s friend took too long in the toilet.

The comedian grew annoyed that his friend was taking too long inside the cubicle.

“Edi ‘yun…

Vice wet his friend’s feet.

Taking a dipper and filling it with water, Vice threw it at his friends’ feet.

“Tapos, hindi kumikibo. ‘Ah, talagang binubwisit mo ako, pinaghihintay mo ako, ah!’ Kinuha ko ‘yung tabo tapos… ‘Bakla, 48 years na ha.’ Binasa ko ‘yung paa niya!”

“Tapos, ayos ako ng buhok, ‘Bakla ka, ako pa talaga pinaghintay mo.”

Someone revealed himself.

When the person inside the cubicle went out, it turned out to be the music icon.

“Paglabas ng cubicle, si Jose Mari Chan.”

“Sabi ko, ‘Sorry po…’ Nakita ko talaga, basa ‘yung sapatos niya atsaka ‘yung pantalon niya basa. Kasi pala ‘yung pantalon niya nandidito…”

“Sabi ni Jose Mari Chan, ‘Is that you?’ ‘Hindi po ako ‘yun.’ Ayoko na kumain, gusto ko nang umuwi.”

After his revelation, Vice announced that he is one of the first people to play Chan’s songs during Christmastime.

  • Diego Loyzaga has been missing on ABS-CBN series, Los Bastardos.
  • According to reports, Ruel S. Bayani tried to hold on to Loyzaga.
  • The reports suggested that Teresa Loyzaga informed the production that he won’t be coming back to the series.

Diego Loyzaga has been missing in the ABS-CBN series, Los Bastardos. He is Joaquin Cardinal, one of the sons of Don Roman Cardinal, Sr., played by Ronaldo Valdez. Although the show continued to air, Diego hasn’t been seen for a few weeks.

Did Diego gave up Los Bastardos?

According to reports, Loyzaga was the one who gave up Los Bastardos and Ruel S. Bayani tried to hold on to the young star. The report supposedly added that Teresa Loyzaga was the one who revealed that Diego left the series.

“Wala na, bumitaw na si Diego sa Los Bastardos. Sa totoo lang hindi siya binitiwan ni RSB, binigyan siya ng two weeks or more para makabalik sa show, eh. Mismong si Teresa na ang nagsabing hindi na babalik ang anak. Kaya walang choice kundi patayin na ang karakter niya.”

How will Diego’s character die?

Los Bastardos would allegedly show that Joaquin, Diego’s character, went to America where his plane would crash.

“Palalabasing nagpunta sa Amerika si DIego tapos nag-crash ang eroplanong sinasakyan niya at hindi na nakita ang bangkay, pero ipakikita ang funeral rites niya…

“Nanghihinayang ang lahat kay Diego. Ang galing daw umarte at malambing sa mga katrabaho, kaya sana makabawi agad siya at mabigyan uli ng chance.”

Co-stars are hoping to see Diego again.

In an interview with PEP.ph, Kylie Verzosa admitted that they have no idea with what happened to Diego. She, however, hoped that he would come back soon.

“We haven’t heard of him. But I just wish the best for him… We don’t know much about it… Pero sana bumalik siya.”

Did Diego attempt suicide?

In earlier reports, Diego was rushed to St. Luke’s Medical Center in Quezon City. He was supposedly talking to someone on the phone. He was saying how he can still handle it and later attempted to slash his neck with a Swiss army knife. Diego’s housemates called the paramedics who used first aid on the young actor.

Amid suicide attempt rumors, Diego later posted an advertisement for a juice and allegedly contacted DJ Jhai Ho instead.

  • Elmo Magalona is doing fine amid issues this year.
  • According to his interview with MJ Felipe, he would avoid love teams and having a love life.
  • Janella Salvador accused Elmo of physical abuse.

Elmo Magalona admitted that it has been a challenging year for him. MJ Felipe was able to interview Elmo in a charity event on Saturday, December 1. He, however, didn’t mention Janella Salvador‘s physical abuse accusations against him.

How is Elmo?

Magalona disclosed that he is doing fine. He expressed his gratitude toward the support of his family and friends.

“I’m doing fine naman, keeping my focus… And I’ll be honest, it wouldn’t have been possible without the help and love of my family, friends and ‘yung mga sumusuporta sa akin.”

Elmo learned his lesson.

Magalona was asked what lessons he learned during 2018. He disclosed that he will avoid love teams and having a love life. He, however, didn’t mention the struggles he had.

“You need to keep good company around you al the time. So, that ma-feel mo that you’re not alone.”

Janella accussed Elmo of Physical Abuse.

Although Salvador noted that she didn’t want anyone to hate Elmo, she wanted to clarify the false assumptions against her and her mother, Jenine Desiderio. The issue and rumors started when Julia Barretto posted a photo of Janella with visible bruises by her right elbow.

The young actress had an exclusive interview with Philippine Star entertainment columnist Ricky Lo. Janella revealed that the first time Elmo mistreated her was when he had a drink. After Elmo apologized and claimed he didn’t remember ever hurting her, Janella forgave him and gave him a chance.

The reason behind Janella’s confirmation was not to put hate or shame on Elmo. She wanted to correct the lies being told against her and especially her mom who had done everything she can for Janella’s own good. Janella noted that she gave Elmo a chance to own up with what he did but he still remained silent.

ElNella appears in Canada concert.

Janella and Elmo were together in Canada despite their serious rift. According the photo above, they promoted One Magical Night Canada 2018 Tour with Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.

That was the first time they were together after Salvador’s revelation.

  • Onanay will soon bid adieu.
  • In recent episodes, Natalie’s hate toward Maila blossomed even more.
  • Onanay is the only fighting Kapuso series when it comes to ratings.

Onanay centers around Natalie (Kate Valdez) and Maila (Mikee Quintos). The show premiered on August 6, under Gina Alajar and Joel Lamangan‘s direction. Onanay is only been airing for four months now.

Natalie’s hate and anger grew deeper.

In a recent episode, Natalie was injured and cold when Maila left to look for rescuers. She thought Maila left her for real and fainted. Although they have become friends again, her hate and anger toward Maila grew deeper even the more.

She went blind after a head injury; while they were stuck in an island. Helena (Cherie Gil) brainwashed Natalie into thinking that Maila left her for real. During her flashback, Natalie tried to call Maila but she was too weak. Helena’s lies clouded Natalie’s trust in Maila.

Oliver said goodbye.

After Imelda (Vaness del Moral) left Lucas (Wendell Ramos), Oliver (Enrico Cuenca) bid his goodbye to Maila. If they couldn’t stop her from leaving, there would be a possibility for Oliver to leave for the US and stay there for good.

Onanay is nearing its end.

Helena made her revenge. She sent Dante (Gardo Versoza) to prison and Maila’s scholarship was revoked. Helena endangered Maila, Onay (Jo Berry), Nelia (Nora Aunor) and Sally‘s (Rochelle Pangilinan) lives as she sent an arson to burn down their house.

This teaser, ended with: “Sa malapit na pagtatapos ng Onanay…”

Onanay stayed strong in the ratings game.

Onanay is the only fighting Kapuso series when it comes to ratings as it managed to catch up to its rival, Ngayon at Kailanman. GMA Network, however, has a six-week policy. If a series doesn’t rate well in its first six weeks, the Network will give it another week. If the series still won’t pick up in its ratings, the Network would put an end to it.

  • The actor already gave a public apology
  • Jessy and Enrique stopped talking to each other since then.

Jessy Mendiola recently stressed her feelings since the 2015 plane incident with Enrique Gil.

On September 4, 2015, Mendiola, Luis Manzano, Enrique Gil, and Liza Soberano were on a plane together going to London.

According to an eye-witness, Enrique was drunk and tipsy at the time and was hitting on Jessy.

Luis tried to stop the actor, but Enrique did not listen. So, they end up throwing punches.

On September 11, 2015, Gil admitted what he did at that incident and gave a public apology via TV Patrol.

Jessy and Luis remain mum about the issue, until recently.

On December 4 this year, Jessy finally talked about the issue. She said that she underwent trauma, but she already recovered.

The actress also added that she can’t avoid Enrique forever since they both work in the same grounds.

She said, “Nagkakasalubong kami, pero yung management din, Star Magic, is very sensitive na hindi kami ipag-close o ipagsama sa isang kuwarto.

“They’re very sensitive naman about it.

“And para sa akin, if magkasalubong… actually, nakikita ko naman siya from afar, pero wala kaming time lang o walang pagkakataon na nag-uusap kami.

“Kapag nakikita ko naman siya, may ganun na, pero tapos na yun, e.”

When asked if she’s willing to accept projects with Enrique, she replied, “Tingnan natin… tngnan natin.”

Meanwhile, Mendiola has an upcoming movie with Jericho Rosales titled The Girl in the Orange Dress which is an official entry of the Metro Manila Film Festival 2018.

She also revealed that she and her boyfriend Luis Manzano will do a cameo in Derek Ramsay and Jennylyn Mercado’s upcoming film.

  • Netizens bashed Jessy Mendiola for reminiscing the 2015 incident with Enrique Gil.
  • Luis Manzano stood up to confront the basher.
  • He sent the basher a direct message (DM) and even dared to meet up with him in person.

Jessy Mendiola stressed during the press conference of her new movie The Girl in the Orange Dress that she almost decided to quit showbiz due to Netizens’ endless bashing.

The actress also reminisced the 2015 issue with Enrique Gil and claimed that she was traumatized by the incident.

One Netizen commented on one of Jessy’s post on Instagram stating, “Sana masaya ka sa pag-uungkat ng nakaraan.

“Move on girl. Kawawa yung taong wala naman talagang may kasalanan. Dinamay mo pa si JM at Enrique Gil sa pagkaka depress mo.

“Kasalanan mo naman ang lahat. Ahas. Starlet. Flop Queen.

“Pumayat nga pero mabaho pa rin.”

Luis Manzano, Jessy’s current boyfriend, was present during that 2015 incident. He was the one who tried to stop Gil and punched him in the face.

And just like in 2015, Luis spoke once more (on behalf) to defend Jessy from the said basher. Luis replied to the Netizen’s comment, “Wag nagmamarunong kung walang alam sa lahat ng pangyayari, panindidgan mo naman mga sinasabi mo, DM mo ako details mo promise bibigyan kita ng chance sabihin lahat yan harap harapan.”

Aside from the direct message, Luis also dared to meet with the Netizen to personally explain what truly happened three years ago.

However, the Netizen did not reply. His comment was deleted from the post.

“In line with our ‘LTE Smartphone for All’ program, our partnership with Samsung is hinged on three pillars: amazing savings, amazing data freebies, and amazing data speeds for our mobile phone customers,” said Andrew L. Santos, First Vice President and Head of Consumer Marketing at PLDT and Smart.

Powered by Android Oreo (Go edition), the Samsung Galaxy J2 Core offers a disruption-free and efficient smartphone experience. Aside from longer battery power, this smartphone also has a 5.0” qHD display which lets users have a better video viewing experience. More than that, this LTE smartphone from Samsung also gives customers more free storage so that they can have more space to save photos and files on their phones.

“In the market, it was originally supposed to be sold at P5,990. But, through our partnership with Smart, we were able to bring it down to P4,990. That’s a discount of P1,000,” said Rhomel Marcojos, Head of Operator Channel, IT and Mobile at Samsung.

Aside from getting a 1000-peso discount, Samsung Galaxy J2 Core customers will also enjoy the benefits of having a Smart SIM, with which mobile prepaid users can enjoy up to 2GB of data upon activation, plus data rewards for one full year.

“So, that’s value for money for any consumer. They’ll be getting free data, a very affordable device, and will now have access to their favorite social media services like YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, among others,” said Marcojos.

LTE Smartphone for All

Independent mobile analytics company OpenSignal has also recognized Smart as the top telco operator in the country in terms of overall video experience.

“This video experience is expected to get even better as Smart rolls out more LTE sites nationwide. We are on track in providing high-speed mobile internet to over 90% of the country’s municipalities by the end of this year,” said Santos.

As of end-September, Smart has a total count of almost 14,400 LTE base stations across the country. This shows the network’s expanded LTE coverage and also lays the ground for LTE-A, which can provide even greater capacity and speeds to users with LTE-compatible smartphones.

“We are in a day and age that mobile internet has significantly changed people’s lives. There’s almost no limit to how much of our activities are transformed by mobile internet, that is why people are looking for faster internet speeds. To do this, subscribers need an LTE smartphone and an LTE SIM as their ticket to enjoy Smart’s fastest LTE network in the Philippines. With this partnership, we are one step closer to our vision of equipping every Filipino with an LTE smartphone,” added Santos.

  • ‘Tawag ng Tanghalan’ names 2nd record holder after John Mark Saga’s 10th consecutive daily win
  • After Elaine Duran made history

“Tawag ng Tanghalan’s” third year is proving to be the singing tilt’s most competitive yet as it named its second-ever TNT Record Holder after John Mark Saga clinched his tenth consecutive daily win on Wednesday (December 5) on “It’s Showtime.”

John Mark, the first singer from Luzon to achieve the remarkable feat, is also the second “Tawag ng Tanghalan” contender to become a TNT Record Holder after Mindanao’s Elaine Duran gained the title in September this year – the first in the three-year history of the country’s biggest singing competition.

As the only two TNT Record Holders so far, Elaine and John Mark have already sparked excitement among viewers, who are anticipating their potential face-off in the grand finals.

Elaine already qualified for the “Tawag ng Tanghalan” Year 3 grand finals, while John Mark is set to participate in the current season’s second semifinals.

In his last performance as a defending champion, John Mark performed Yeng Constantino’s hit song “Ikaw,” which earned him a standing ovation and a score of 97% from the hurados.

Like Elaine, John Mark was given the chance to select one from the three “treasures” offered exclusively to TNT Record Holders. In the end, he chose the additional P50,000 cash prize, over having the opportunity to record a single under TNT Records and the special power to choose the songs of his co-contenders in the semifinals. John Mark brought home a total of P310,000.

John Mark’s victory is just one of the many stories of hope, inspiration, and perseverance featured every day in “Tawag ng Tanghalan.” A musical director and vocal coach from Cavite, he re-entered the competition after failing to win in the second season’s Quarter 1 semifinals.

Don’t miss the vocal showdown in “Tawag ng Tanghalan” on “It’s Showtime” on ABS-CBN and ABS-CBN HD. For the program’s past episodes, log in to iWant or on skyondemand.com.ph for Sky subscribers.

  • Angkas has been able to capture the imagination of Filipino netizens with witty content and timely memes that capture the everyday experience of Filipinos and the perennial problem of traffic

Angkas, the leading motorcycle taxi platform in the country, broke the internet with its hilarious music video #AngkasTaraNa!

The LSS-worthy music video conceptualized and produced by G5 Creative Concepts features Angkas driver and rapper Trix Maceres, hilarious street performers, and opens with a vignette of images that have watermarks on it. It accurately reflects the personality of Angkas that has made them a viral success on social media.

“We wanted to make a parody of rap videos but through the lens of a Filipino vs what you would usually see in the US.  The best part is that the song was written by an Angkas biker,” George Royeca, CEO of G5 Creative Concepts said. “It’s amazing how we, Filipinos, have imbibed rap in our culture. Angkas showcasing one of their own versus a well-known artist was quite special. And I think the risk paid off.”

Aside from Trix, many of the individuals prominently featured in the video are Angkas drivers. On top of this, the pumping choreography in the video was also conceptualized by a member of the Angkas community. Proving that apart from being great drivers on the road, they are creative geniuses as well!

As of this writing, the video has already garnered 1.5 million views and more than 10,000 shares on Facebook alone. Underneath all the comedy, Angkas communicates a simple message, “[w]alang mintis. Garantisado. Maayos.” Assuring their loyal riders that they provide a safe and reliable transportation option for Filipino commuters.

Rescue driver is first winner of biggest jackpot prize in CineMo’s ‘Sorpresaya’

  • Rescue driver is first winner of biggest jackpot prize in CineMo’s ‘Sorpresaya’
  • “Sorpresaya” viewers now given the chance to win cash prizes via viewer promo

What was supposed to be an ordinary work day for rescue driver Rogelio Fernando turned out to be extraordinary when he was named as the first winner of the P200,000 jackpot prize in “Sorpresaya,” a daytime game show that airs on TVplus’ CineMo.

Rogelio was the first solo winner of the biggest jackpot prize in “Sorpresaya,” which airs on weekdays at 10:30 AM with a same-day replay at 10:30 PM on ABS-CBN TVplus’ CineMo.

As part of the medic team on standby in Sta. Maria Bulacan for “Sorpresaya,” Rogelio was one of the lucky audience members whose number was chosen as part of the “Wanted” segment, a thrilling elimination game that picks a winning player from 20 randomly selected audience members who meet four qualifications. When no one meets all four qualifications, the cash prize will grow bigger until a winner emerges.

Carrying a small cross body bag, Rogelio came up on stage with the other 19 audience members who eagerly waited for “Sorpresaya” hosts Jobert Austria and Nonong Ballinan to reveal one by one the ‘wanted’ qualifications.

Lucky for Rogelio, his bag contained his mobile phone and cable charger, the lucky charms that led him to meet all four qualifications of the game. In the segment, Jobert disclosed that a potential winner must have a cellphone. He later on shared that the phone must have a cellphone case. When Jobert announced that the third ‘wanted’ qualification was a cable charger, 18 players were wiped out, making Rogelio part of the last two standing contestants.

Rogelio’s cellphone wallpaper made him the luckiest man in Bulacan since the last qualification indicated that the wallpaper must only feature two people. Rogelio’s wallpaper was a photo of him and his child.

Dumbfounded with his fate that day, Rogelio said that he’ll use his prize money for his child’s education and for their family’s needs. “Wanted” will continue to give out cash prizes to winning players in “Sorpresaya.”

As the first game show on digital TV that travels around provinces in Luzon to reward audiences with cash prizes through seven entertaining segments, “Sorpresaya” also now gives viewers at home a chance to win cash prizes via the show’s “Cashiyahan Viewer Promo.” Viewers just need to guess which team (Orange vs. Blue) will win in the game segments. A total of P200,000 in cash prizes are given out every day to viewers who send in their answers via drop boxes. For more information on CineMo’s “Sorpresaya” and the “Cashiyahan Viewer Promo,” like CineMo’s Facebook page.

  • He admitted that he didn’t think he would execute it properly.

2018 Metro Manila Film Festival entry Jack Em Popoy: The Puliscredibles has a win-win cast with Vic Sotto, Maine Mendoza and Coco Martin as lead stars. The movie featured a scene where Martin had to join Eat Bulaga‘s segment, Mr. Pogi.

The action star confessed that he felt too nervous in doing the scene which resulted into doing a lot of takes.

Coco enters Mr. Pogi.

MMFF entry director Mike Tuviera had the idea of the scene. Martin admitted that he didn’t think he would execute it properly.

“Honestly, kung ako po ‘yung tatanungin niyo, hindi ko talaga kinaya ‘yung eksenang ‘yun… Kasi may talent portion, eh! Wala naman akong talent, eh.”

Coco shared his struggle.

Martin noted that he couldn’t handle singing, dancing and rapping during the Mr. Pogi bit.

“Nung shinoshoot po namin talaga ‘yun… siguro lagpas yata ng sampung takes ako doon, nagpapakilala pa lang ako… Tapos, siyempre after noon, meron akong kanta, sasayaw ako, magra-rap ako. Kumbaga ‘yung nerbyos, pakiramdam ko, totoo akong sumali ng Eat Bulaga.”

Coco recalled Daisy Siete days.

Martin reminisced about his first-ever visit on Eat Bulaga. He promoted the afternoon show, Daisy Siete with SexBomb members.

“Nung nasa GMA pa ako, nakapag-visit na ako sa Eat Bulaga… Dating dati pa po. Daisy Siete days, nag-promote po kami tapos sumayaw kami. Tapos ayun po, nung nandoon ako, ayun yung parang bumabalik sa akin.”

Coco expressed his Nervousness.

Martin shared that he had to do a lot of takes due to his unease.

  • Kisses Delavin shared that she kind of looking forward to bond with Marian Rivera.
  • Kisses and Marian’s husband, Dingdong Dantes, are co-stars in the movie Fantastica.
  • There is a possibility that Marian would join Dingdong on the premiere night of the said film.

Dingdong Dantes and Kisses Delavin are both cast members of Vice Ganda’s Metro Manila Film Festival 2018 entry Fantastica. Delavin, being a fan of Marian Rivera, she expressed her wish to meet and bond with Kapuso Primetime Queen.

Dantes, during the film’s press conference, said that he was amused by the young Kapamilya loveteams such as DonKiss, LoiNie, and DonKiss.

The Kapuso actor said that he remembered how he started in showbiz via a love team. He was paired with Antoinette Taus back then.

On December 5, Dantes shared his coffee bonding with the cast and wrote that he is looking forward to more bonding moments with them.

In response, Kisses commented, “Me too po! Sana with ate Yan next time!”

Kisses admitted that she’s a big fan of Marian Rivera.

Marian reportedly will have a cameo scene in Fantastica. This has not been confirmed yet but Marian already previously stated that she already asked the GMA Management’s permission. She did not give any update if her request was granted.

Or come premiere night, if Rivera would join Dantes, Delavin’s wish to bond with the Kapuso actor’s wife would be realized.
