• Mystica turned to Raffy Tulfo for help after she failed to solicit help from both Michael V. and Dingdong Dantes.
• She is allegedly being bullied humiliated by two bloggers: Drew Olivar and Niño Barsaga.
• In the middle of the interview, Raffy interrupted her to ask whether or not she is on drugs; she initially agreed to do a drug test but later slammed him on a Facebook post about it.

Mystica (Ruby Villanueva) asked for help from Raffy Tulfo, wanting to file a complaint against two bloggers: Drew Olivar and Niño Barsaga. According to Mystica, Olivar and Barsaga pretended to be “bookers” who could get her contact numbers and embarrass her in public.

Mystica begged for job[s].

The Split Queen went on facebook live to ask Coco Martin for a job which the Kapamilya star granted her a stint in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano. After her death in the series, she requested Michael V. for a role in either Pepito Manaloto and/or Bubble Gang.

Since the comedian remained silent, she went and did a video, appealed to Dingdong Dantes to help her get a role in Cain at Abel. 

According to Mystica, her persistence to get back into showbiz gave Drew and Niño a chance to hurl below-the-belt insults against her. 

Raffy talked to Niño.

Barsaga pointed out that Mystica’s complaints weren’t new to him. He also wanted to contact Mystica just to make her remain silent. He only wanted to defend President Rodrigo Duterte from Mystica’s untrue claims. Niño noted that he is ready to take the issue to court. 

“Tutal nagrereklamo po siya, hihintayin ko na lang po kung ano ‘yung formal na reklamo niya po. Doon na lang po kami magkita, Sir Raffy, kung ‘yun po ang gusto niya.”

Raffy told Niño that it wasn’t right to make Mystica believe that there is a job waiting for her as a host in an event in Baguio City. Barsaga, then, asked Mystica to file a formal complaint and he will surely attend.

“Willing naman po akong humarap…”

Raffy asked about Mystica’s drug use.

Mystica insisted that she cannot say anything that the bloggers had used her. She continued to cry until Raffy interrupted her.

 “Sobrang panlilinlang… binaboy po ako… Sobra na ‘di ko po masabi dito. Kahit sino po ‘pag nakita… sobra na po talagang binaboy ‘yung pagkatao ko. Nawalan ako ng dignidad pati ng bookings ko!”

Raffy cut Mystica in and said:

“Sorry, ha. I have to ask you a straight question… Gumagamit ba kayo?”

Mystica strongly denied it.

“Hindi po at kung ako po ay isa sa mga gumagamit… malalaman niyo po sa YouTube. Dahil ako, viral po ako lagi. Ni isa, hindi niyo po matatagpuan ang pangalan ko sa listahan ng mga gumagamit po na ako ay involved.”

Raffy asked her to do a drug test.

Tulfo, with consent, asked her to do a drug examination before she could push through with her complaint against the two bloggers. 

“If it’s okay with you… Voluntary naman ‘to, ipapa-drug test kita. Kapag negative ka, I’ll help you. Kapag positive ka, aatras kami.”

Mystica slammed Raffy.

She initially said ‘yes’ to the drug test. She, however, didn’t see why she had to do the drug test just to hear an apology from Barsaga. Mystica claimed that the whole conversation was scripted. 

She expressed her dismay that Tulfo wasn’t she expected him to be.

Mystica slammed those who told her that she shouldn’t have cried in front of him. 

Mystica added that agreeing to the drug test was because of Tulfo’s manipulation.

Mystica said that the video of her with Raffy went viral and trended on YouTube.

Mystica ended her post, asking for help from Netizens.

 Raffy responded.

Tulfo didn’t want to waste any airtime with Mystica. He also asked his team to stop Mystica’s formal complaint against the bloggers. He added that she is on her own with her fight against Drew and Niño.

Raffy expressed his concern and hoped Mystica would get professional and medical help.

Mystica denied having medical problems.

The actress didn’t take the response well and slammed Tulfo’s concern toward her.

“LOOK WHO’S TALKING! TINGNAN NGA NATIN KUNG SINO ANG MAY DIPERENSIYA SA ATIN, RAFFY TULFO. I DON’T NEED A MEDICAL HELP…”

Mystica had her one chance to revive her showbiz career through Coco Martin’s help, but she ruined it.

The former sexy singer-actress and her husband were given a break in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano. Apparently, their role was cut short which made the actress discontented and sounded ungrateful.

Instead of waiting for another Kapamilya project, she asked for the Kapuso comedian Michael V. to help her, just like the way she did with Coco.

This angered a lot of Netizens calling her “bastos”, “mayabang”, “reklamador”, “primadonna”, and “walang utang na loob”.

Unfortunately, the same gimmick did not have the same effect for the Kapuso Michael V. So, she asked for Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes’ help. Again, she her appeal fell in deaf ears.

The actress was desperate so she went to the Tulfo Brothers.

Erwin Tuflo was the one who accommodated her issues. Unfortunately, the news anchor only wanted to clarify Mystica’s side and release her true frustrations. Erwin asked Mystica to undergo drug test which also angered her. She then slammed the news anchor.

Sadly, the Tulfo brothers didn’t offer any help for the actress in regards to reviving her showbiz career.

With this, it seems that the showbiz industry has finally shut off the doors for Mystica.

• Kapamilya stars welcome first batch of kids to the Bantay Bata 163 Children’s Village
• Children’s Village reopens in time for Christmas

Piolo Pascual, JM De Guzman, Maymay Entrata, and Edward Barber led the Star Magic artists that came to support the relaunch of the Bantay Bata 163 Children’s Village last December 1 in Norzagaray, Bulacan where they welcomed the first batch of residents of the newly-renovated halfway home.

The children, aged three to 16, were all smiles as they arrived at the 2.5 hectare property, which was first opened in 2003 as a temporary shelter for abused, exploited, abandoned, and neglected children rescued by Bantay Bata 163.

The opening of Children’s Village coincided with Star Magic Gives Back, the annual yearend activity of the country’s premier talent agency, where Star Magic artists and staff visit different institutions to bring early Christmas cheer. Joining Piolo, JM, Maymay, and Edward at Children’s Village were Ysabel Ortega and Sharlene San Pedro, who along with JM serenaded the children with song numbers, Vivoree Esclito and Heaven Peralejo, who led the children in fun games, and other artists including Eric Nicolas, Enzo Pineda, Luke Alford, John Bermundo, Yasmyne Suarez, Gerard Acao, Karl Gabriel, Luis Hontiveros, and Mark Rivera. Meanwhile, other Kapamilya stars visited the Good Samaritan Home for the Elderly in Marikina, the Craniofacial Foundation of the Philippines in Manila, and Sta. Maria de Mattias in Marikina.

Piolo, the most senior among the stars that participated in the welcome, said it means a lot to him to be part of ABS-CBN’s advocacy against child abuse. “I see this opportunity as a gift. It is important to use our influence to lead the way for young ones to follow.”

He added, “By simply giving the children a warm welcome, I think that will make a big difference in their lives because you make them feel that they are not alone in life and that they have a family.”

Meanwhile, Maymay shared that she empathizes with the kids. “We all have different experiences, but I know what it feels like to lose hope and feel lost,” she said. “I am honored to do my part bringing the children some fun at least for a day as they begin their road to recovery.” Maymay and her loveteam partner Edward also volunteered to become Bantay Bata 163 champions.

Earlier this year, over 300 Kapamilya artists came together to support the relaunching of the Children’s Village through raising awareness on the issue of child abuse and pledging donations at the ABS-CBN Ball 2018. Bantay Bata 163 also received support from other donors including the Quezon City local government led by Mayor Herbert Bautista and Vice Mayor Joy Belmonte.

Bantay Bata 163 program director Jing Castaneda-Velasco once again expressed her appreciation to the stars for taking time from their busy schedules to support their advocacy.

The Bantay Bata 163 Children’s Village provides holistic healing for children at risk through physical and psycho-social means, and a structured, therapeutic, family-like environment. It serves as a place where every child can recover, thrive, and develop before being reintegrated with their families and molded into productive members of society. The first batch of new residents include children previously under the protection of the Quezon City Social Services Development Department’s Reception and Action Center (RAC) and the Microgeo Network in Filinvest.

Many tears were shed as Don Roman (Ronaldo Valdez) finally revealed to Lucas (Albie Casiño) that he is the young man’s father in a heart-wrenching scene on “Los Bastardos” last Monday (December 3).

After having had enough of Alba’s (Isabel Rivas) abuse and of lying to the person they loved, Don Roman and Sita (Ana Abad) finally decided to own up to their mistake to Lucas, revealing that he is a Cardinal.

 Although the truth about his parentage had not yet sunk in, Lucas did not deny his father, Don Roman, an embrace when the older Cardinal reached out for his son.

This tender moment between father and son earned praises from netizens.

• TNT Boys makes history as youngest artists to sell out a major concert in PH
• Concert also draws high viewership on ABS-CBN TVplus’ KBO

International sensation TNT Boys have added another history-making feat to their long list of accolades as they now hold the record of being the youngest artists to headline a sold-out concert, not only at the Araneta Coliseum but in the whole country, with their successful “Listen: The Big Shot Concert.””

Thousands of Filipino and foreign fans filled up the Big Dome as they witnessed the powerhouse performances of Mackie Empuerto, Keifer Sanchez, and Francis Concepcion, who all thanked their fans for their unwavering love and support in their concert last November 30. 

With their signature high notes and hair-raising vocals, the TNT Boys opened the night with a performance of “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going.” The trio, overcome with emotions, also teared up during their performance of “Flashlight,” one of their most applauded of the night, while the crowd lit up the venue with glow sticks and mobile phones.

Unkabogable star and “Fantastica” lead star Vice Ganda also brought laughter to the crowd and expressed how proud he was of the three boys, whom he considers his sons. “Tawag ng Tanghalan” hurado K Brosas also joined the fun by dressing up as Jessie J, singing “Price Tag,” and cracking jokes. 

Jed Madela offered a world-class performance with the TNT Boys as they sang popular and well-loved classics. Meanwhile, “TNT” grand champions Janine Berdin, Jhon Clyd Talili, and Noven Belleza proved their vocal prowess in their powerful rendition of “We are the Champions.” 

The trio’s friends from “Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids” Xia Vigor, Onyok Pineda, Esang De Torres, Sheena Belarmino, Noel Comia Jr., Chunsa Jung, and Krystal Brimner were also present to impersonate popular music icons. 

The program ended with the TNT Boys’ all-out performance of “Listen,” which drew loud cheers and screams from fans. 

“Listen: The Big Shot Concert” did not just draw crowds at the Big Dome, as thousands of ABS-CBN TVplus subscribers watched their concert live right at the comfort of their homes via the digital TV service’s KBO feature.

Officially formed as a trio after their viral vocal showdown in the late night talk show “Gandang Gabi Vice” last year, the TNT Boys have since impressed viewers here and abroad and earned awards.  They recently received the Royal Cub award from the entertainment blog Lionheartv for consistently making headlines and their trending performances. They were also named the Pop Child Performer of the Year at the PPOP Awards for Young Artists 2018, which honored outstanding young artists who have made a mark on Philippine pop culture, music, and performing arts. 

The boys are also regulars in “ASAP Natin ‘To,” where they give stellar vocal performances every week alongside the country’s finest singers. In time for the holidays, the TNT Boys are also releasing a Christmas album titled “TNT Boys Christmastime” under TNT Records where they give a modern twist to some of the most known Christmas song classics.

Fans are also up for more surprise as the boys are joining an international talent competition in the US, which will air soon.

King of Talk Boy Abunda shares two important speeches in his life—featuring his ideas, arguments, and statements on LGBT pride, and his special recollection and revelations as a son—in his new book “Nanay’s Gay Boy.”

Inside its pages is the full commencement speech ‘Dearest Nanay’ which he delivered addressed to his mother when he served as speaker and a doctorate graduate in Philippine Women’s University’s graduation exercises held at the Philippine International Convention Center in 2016.

“Nanay is the center of my universe. She is the beginning and the end of most of my decisions,” Boy shared heartwarmingly. “Nanay, thank you for teaching me to value my core as it is my truth, for inculcating in me, that who I am is special. That my story, is one that I can be proud of.”

The multi-awarded television personality, who is celebrating his silver anniversary as a host in 2019, also disclosed another inspiring rhetoric on “Why can’t we have a gay president?” in this new read. 

Delivered at the TEDxADMU event in Resorts World Manila in 2016, the speech challenges “prejudicial, discriminatory and common cultural beliefs” against gay people.

He said, “we have some of the most passionate, some of the most driven, some of the most brilliant, . . . some of the most transformative leaders in the LGBT community. One of them is just waiting in the wings, waiting for his or her turn to be the next president of this country.”

• Lakers and Warriors face-off on Christmas day

It’s a glitzy Christmas for Filipino hoop fans as the stars of the best basketball league in the whole world will be seen in action everyday on ABS-CBN S+A and ABS-CBN starting Friday (December 14), including the much-anticipated Christmas day showdown between the Lebron James-led Los Angeles Lakers and the defending champion Golden State Warriors.

The special December marathon fires off on Friday (December 14) live at 9 am on S+A with James and the youngsters of the Los Angeles Lakers going up against the veteran-laden Houston Rockets squad of James Harden and Chris Paul. After that, it’s John Wall and the Washington Wizards versus Spencer Dinwiddie and the Brooklyn Nets on December 15 at 8:30 am live on ABS-CBN, then the coverage shifts back to S+A with the Minnesota Timberwolves – Phoenix Suns game on December 16.

The next day, December 17, features the battle of Eastern Conference’s top seed Toronto Raptors and Kawhi Leonard and the West’s number three squad Denver Nuggets, which has been in a tear behind the balanced play of their stars led by Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic.

Action continues with Philadelphia–San Antonio on December 18, Cleveland–Indiana on December 19, and Memphis-Portland on December 20.

ABS-CBN got the seal of approval from Anak TV Awards, which honored 31 of its programs and artists for embodying value-laden, child-sensitive, and family-friendly themes.

Leading the winners in the prestigious awards, which covers the entire nation, are recipients of the Anak TV Seal including ABS-CBN entertainment shows “ASAP,” “Bagani,” “Home Sweetie Home,” “Little Big Shots, “Maalaala Mo Kaya,” “Magandang Buhay,” “Matanglawin,” “Team YeY,” “Wansapanataym,” and “Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids” as well as collegiate sports and lifestyle program “Upfront,” which airs on ABS-CBN’s sports channel S+A.

Meanwhile, ABS-CBN’s educational channel Knowledge Channel also nabbed three Anak TV Seals for shows “Wow,” “Agricoolture,” and “MathDali.”

ABS-CBN Regional programs “Maayong Buntag Kapamilya,” “Magandang Umaga South Central Mindanao,” and “Marhay na Aga Kapamilya” also got the Anak TV Seal.

The Anak TV Awards are given by ANAK TV, an advocacy organization that promotes television literacy and pushes the agenda for child-sensitive, family-friendly television in the Philippines. The Anak TV Seal is a national award voted on by parents, educators, business and media professionals, government, media, NGOs, the religious sector, and youth to be given to child-sensitive programs airing on Philippine television.

At the historic installation of newly-elected City Councilmembers at the City Council Chambers of Daly City’s Civic Center, TFC was named Mayor’s Business of the Year.  According to Mayor Juslyn Manalo, TFC provides entertainment and offers shows that reflect the Filipino culture and values. But more than that, Manalo adds that “it’s really through the work they’ve done for the community. For the past two years they’ve partnered with the city of Daly City to do the Filipino American History Month celebration and it’s wonderful to partner with a business that cares about the community. We see a long-term partnership with The Filipino Channel and it’s an honor to present this award to them.”

ABS-CBN Global Head of Corporate Affairs & PR Nerissa Fernandez accepted the award on behalf of Global COO Olivia De Jesus and North and Latin America Managing Director Jun Del Rosario. In her speech, Fernandez quoted the late Chairman Emeritus Don Eugenio Lopez, Jr when he was asked if ABS-CBN is about values first or service first? “ABS-CBN is about values first because values comprise the soul of service.” She added that “Daly City provided us a business environment wherein we could freely put into practice our cherished corporate values.”

In attendance at the ceremonies were California State Senator Scott Wiener and Assemblymember Philip Ting of the California Legislature, both of whom also presented TFC with Certificates of Recognition.

Fernandez underlined the significance of being named Mayor’s Business of the Year in Daly City, the largest city in San Mateo County, saying it “is an impactful recognition for ABS-CBN and TFC. But we shouldn’t wear it over our shoulders like a mantle of ‘we achieved this and that.’ What this award affirms is the importance of corporate citizenship. Our business is not removed from the living, breathing community it operates in. What we do or not do in and with the community matters. As newly inducted Daly City Councilman Rod Daus-Magbual said, ‘My father taught me to look at Daly City as my garden. If you take care of the plants, the plants will take care of you.’”

Other attendees of the Special Meeting of the City Council were Congresswoman Jackie Spier, San Mateo County Supervisor David Canepa, former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown. Other awards given out by the city are the Citizen of the Year, Commissioner of the Year, and Youth of the Year.

• She explained her shyness during the grand media press conference for an MMFF 2018 entry.

Maine Mendoza described the feeling of being called the “Phenomenal Star”. In the grand media conference of their 2018 Metro Manila Film Festival Jack Em Popoy: The Puliscredibles, Mendoza showed her uncomfy reactions whenever she is praised by her co-stars Vic Sotto and Coco Martin.

Maine explained her feelings.

In an interview with PEP.ph, Mendoza noted that it is very surreal for her to acknowledge the fame.

“Siguro po iba ‘yung tingin ko sa sarili ko… Saka very surreal pa rin sa akin kung ano ang nakikita ng mga tao sa akin. Ako, nahihiya po ako na ina-acknowledge na ganun ako. Parang sinasabi nga nila, ‘yung mga bashers na ganito, ganyan. Sinasabi ko naman na ako ‘yung unang manlalait sa sarili ko.

“Kasi alam ko ‘yung flaws ko, ‘yung pagkukulang ko. Ewan ko po, kasi habambuhay ‘yung ganun, which I think is okay naman, di po ba? Kasi it keeps me grounded parang hindi ako nadadala agad sa mga papuri ng mga tao sa akin. ganun din po talaga siguro ‘yung personality ko.”

Maine has learned to adjust to her environment.

When asked whether or not she has already adjusted to her stature, Mendoza expressed that she was exposed in All for Juan Juan for All: Barangay Bayanihan for d’Pipol.

“In a way po, yes. Kasi tatlong taon na rin po ako [sa showbiz] and every day na rin po akong na-expose sa Barangay… So, parang aware na rin ako. Unti-unti ko na rin pong tinatanggap na nandito na po ako sa showbiz… Kasi noon parang hindi pa ako makapaniwala sa lahat na hindi pa ma-grasp ng utak ko.”

Maine received high praises from Vic.

Sotto expressed his admiration toward the young star.

“Ako kasi paniwala ko, ‘pag ikaw ay talento, tamang himas lang, lalabas at lalabas. Ako, hindi mo kailangang i-guide or bigyan ng tips, depende sa eksena. Itong si Maine, dahil gusto kong matutunan niya, gusto kong lumabas nang normal, nang natural ‘yung pagiging timing niya sa comedy, ‘yung timing sa drama.

“Yung sa action naman, eh, si Coco na ang bahala dun. Kasi mas maganda ‘yung nakikita mong nadi-develop ‘yung arista na may sarili siyang kusa. Dahil ako naniniwala, itong si maine, she’s very talented. Siguro naman alam niyo kung ano ang naging stepping stone niya sa showbiz, ‘yung Dubsmash?”

“Hindi lahat ng tao magagawa nang ganun. Hindi basta-basta, kung wala kang talent, hindi ka sisikat sa ganoong paraan. Dun pa lang, alam kong she’s very talented na.”
